Sizing Guide

Measuring your babes head is simple. Use a soft tape and measure from just below the bottom of left ear (approximately where the bonnet would sit) up over the top of their head and down to just below the bottom of right ear (approximately where the bonnet would sit). If your baby is in between sizes or you are unsure, always size up.

For the little booties, measure your babes foot from heel to longest point at toes and add half a centimetre for wiggle room.

Bonnets

0-3 months - 34cm

3-6 months - 36cm

6-12 months - 38cm

12-24 months - 40cm

2-4 years - 42cm

Booties

0-3 months - 10cm

3-6 months - 11cm

6-9 months - 11.5cm

9-12 months - 12cm

Scarves

Scarves are OSFA (One Size Fits All) but are best suited to ages 4 and upwards.

They are joined at the back with covered elastic to make them easy for little ones to pop them on all by themselves and also for a little ‘give’ as they grow. They also have ties to make them look proper - these ties can be used to tighten the scarf if needed.

What type of fabrics do I repurpose?

I only use 100% cottons, linens, silks, wools and other natural fibres. No synthetic fabrics.

While most of the fabrics my bonnets are sewn from are vintage finds, all linings & bindings and a few other random pieces here and there are purchased new.

I endeavor to portray the colors and design as accurately as possible of each item in my listings, however, due to the nature of the pre-loved and vintage fabrics, they are each unique so may differ slightly from images shown. There may also be a little difference to each bonnet due to pattern placement - particularly on my patterned fabrics.

Please also note that a lot of my bonnets and scarves are made from vintage fabrics, while I endeavour to limit any major flaws or markings/stains, due to their vintage nature some may have minor marks which attribute to the beauty of these unique clothing items.

Australia flat rate - $18.50 NZD (up to 4 bonnets)

USA flat rate - $25 NZD (up to 4 bonnets)

Europe & United Kingdom flat rate - $25 NZD (up to 4 bonnets)

China flat rate - $25 NZD (up to 4 bonnets)

Customers are responsible for any import/customs tax or charges that may apply in your country.

We allow a leadtime for general orders of 10 days (but we mostly have them shipped within a few days), and for custom orders it is approx. 3 weeks. We will contact you if this changes.

Care & Handling

Delicate items require delicate care. Cool wash in a laundry bag on a gentle cycle or simply handwash in cool/lukewarm water.

Lay flat to dry in shade and finish with a gentle iron.

Bonnets should always be worn under supervision.
