The adorable Betsy bonnet is sewn from a beautifully embroidered vintage linen duchess set - that means there is only one of Betsy. She has been lined with a pretty vintage Liberty of London cotton lawn. Betsy is fully reversible, giving you 2 adorable looks in one bonnet and has the perfect tones to match in with your littles’ summer wardrobe.
Please note; Betsy has 2 very small imperfections - on the lefthand side of the bonnet there is a tiny pin-size mark and a slight discolouration on the linen. I have photographed both of these (see picture #4) - part of working with vintage fabrics is that sometimes there are very small flaws or imperfections in the fabrics, obviously I endeavour to eliminate using these pieces, but sometimes the embroideries are just too gorgeous not to use. This adds to the charm of an upcycled piece in my opinion.
